How to Embed Instagram Widget on WordPress

In this article, we’ll show you how to embed an Instagram widget using a custom HTML code into your WordPress website. It’s a simple and effective way to add some social media flair to your website and attract more followers. Let’s get started!

Prerequsites

A WordPress Website
Use Idukki’s easy-to-setup collection of feeds from various sources and customize the widget to suit your website.
Create a collection by adding feeds from different sources, such as Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Threads, and more. In this example, we will focus on Instagram feeds. Click here to learn how.

After adding the posts, you can edit your collection, i.e., pin posts, show/hide posts, use profanity filter, tag products. Click here to learn how.

Next, you can curate your collection and fine-tune every small detail to match your brand. Click here to learn.

You can add custom CSS to design your widget according to your plan.
Click Publish and copy the HTML code. You will need it later.

Once you have a collection ready in Idukki, you can embed it on your WordPress website with a simple code.
Log into your WordPress admin panel.
Create a new post or page from the left sidebar. Or if you have already created one, open it for editing.
In the WordPress Visual Editor, click the plus icon, switch to Blocks and select Custom HTML under Widgets. This will create a block where you can paste the HTML code you copied in Idukki.

Alternatively, you can switch to the Code Editor mode by clicking the three dots menu on the top right corner, then selecting Code Editor. This will allow you to view and edit the underlying HTML code of your entire post or page.
Paste your HTML code in the Custom HTML block or the Code Editor, depending on the you chose. Preview your code using the Preview button in the block.

When you are happy with your code, click Publish or Update to save your changes and make your post or page live.
